News of the week: Horrible year for HYIPs. PrimeBankForex has some changes lately.

Even if you do not invest in any of these, please do some research before investing.

Finding a Forex Broker

For Forex Trading:
For forex markets I would recommend looking into CashBackForex and selecting a broker. CashBackForex is a great way to get additional income on either robots or manual trading. Earned $51 for July, $193 for August, $491 for Sept, $121 for Oct., and $148 for Nov. (lower in Oct and Nov since Dukascopy suspended).

Things to look for:

1. A reputable broker. Look at some forums on what other people are having success with. Websites: DonnaForex, ForexPeaceArmy

2. A broker to fit your trading style. If you are trying to scalp, then you want to find a broker with extremely low spreads on the currency pairs you want to trade during the time windows you want to trade.

3. Decide if you need a NFA broker. Some US brokers are NFA compliant and do not allow hedging. They also must follow the FIFO rule, which means the first trade in must be the first trade out.

4. Determine your means of funding the account. Some brokerages take credit cards, Paypal, eCurrency, etc. while most all take a wire transfer.

5. I am currently happy with PrimeBankForex for my robot trading. They are currently private but will probably open things to the public soon. Also I have used FXDD in the past but moved away from them for better spreads, and they also are now NFA compliant.

Rules to live by...

For HYIP Programs:
Use MoneyMakerGroup.com, HYIP.com, and GoldPoll.com to determine if a HYIP is worth investing in. I have lost several thousand dollars investing in fast money ideas only to realize that they were not paying or getting bad reviews from these sites. Since then I have done much better at choosing my programs.

Here is my advice:

1. Only invest money you are willing to lose.

2. Do not be too greedy. Often HYIPs that look too good to be true, really are.

3. Research, research, research. Look at the above sites to determine successful HYIPs.

4. Start small. Always do a test run with a small amount to make sure withdrawal process is painless and admins are responsive.

5. Get you initial investment out as fast as possible. Then you have nothing to lose in the HYIP.

6. Continue taking out profit. I usually use the 50/50 rule once in profit. Reinvesting 50% and taking out 50%.

7. Diversify. So if one fails you still have others producing some income. Recommend to try to start out with 3-4 and then work your way up to 8-10.

How to invest online

To invest in HYIPs or other online investments, you will need a Online eCurrency account. I would recommend LibertyReserve as they seem the most widely used by most all of them.

1. Go to LibertyReserve website and open up a FREE account.

2. Next you need to transfer money into the account using an Exchanger. Probably the most trusted exchanger is eCardOne or GoldExPay. They have very good exchange rates.

3. On their website, indicate you would like to BUY LibertyReserve dollars in the amount you would like to purchase.

4. Then take the information to you bank and wire transfer the money to either eCardOne or GoldExPay. Afterwards, you may need to fax a copy of the wire document your bank provides.

5. Finally wait around 5 business days for the money to show up in you LR account.

6. Now you are ready to invest wisely in the online money making opportunities.
